Conduct routine maintenance and servicing of forklifts on-site at client locations.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
Provide technical support and advice to clients.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and service details.
Be proactive in identifying potential issues to minimize downtime for customers.
Manage a well-organized van stock and ensure all equipment is kept in good working order.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Field Forklift Engineer or similar role within the material handling industry.
Excellent problem solving skills
Strong knowledge of forklift mechanics, electrics, and hydraulics.
Ability to diagnose and repair faults quickly and efficiently.
Excellent customer service skills with a professional and approachable attitude.
Full UK driving license (company van provided).
Ability to work independently
Flexibility to work in various locations and handle a variety of tasks.

Desirable Skills:

Previous experience with a wide range of forklift models and manufacturers.
Electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting experience.
