Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking to advance your career in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are seeking a proactive and adaptable professional to join our maintenance team. In this role, you’ll ensure our equipment remains operational and efficient, supporting our production goals with expert maintenance services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Diagnose, assess, and carry out repairs to minimise downtime and keep operations running smoothly.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Implement and execute the annual maintenance schedule across all production areas.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for cost reduction, increased efficiency, and system enhancement.
  • Project Support: Provide hands-on assistance with equipment relocation, machine upgrades, and process redesign initiatives.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow company health and safety procedures, ensuring all tasks are performed safely and maintenance records are accurately maintained.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: City & Guilds in Engineering (or equivalent qualification) or significant relevant experience.
  • Apprenticeship: Completion of a time-served technical apprenticeship.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficient in diagnosing faults and maintaining electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
  • Mechanical Skills: Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in reactive and planned maintenance.

  • Problem Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently under pressure.
