My client is a manufacturer of organic chemicals for the Pharmaceutical, Agrochemical, Rubber, Polymer, Food & Beverage and allied industries, operating in the West Midlands. They are recruiting for a Waste Manager, whose responsibility will be to manage the waste across the processes they operate.

They are after someone who has:

-A Mechanical Engineering HNC as aminimum, ideally a Mech Eng degree

-Aminimumof 10 years experience within an industrial manufacturing environment in a Mechanical Engineering role, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.

Your daily duties will include:

-Overall responsibility for the management of the Mechanical Engineering & Civil Engineering departments which includes 25 staff, and contractors as and when required.

-Mechanical project engineering management within an industrial manufacturing environment.

-Safety, Health & Environmental To maintain and promote a safe operating culture within the department ensuring that in all its aspects of installation and maintenance it operates to the highest levels of safety and meets all legal and statutory requirements, company rules and procedures.
