This exciting role offers a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and the opportunity to grow within a dynamic and innovative business.The Role:As Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day workshop activities, leading a team of engineers, and ensuring the highest standards in equipment maintenance and safety. Your technical expertise and leadership will be critical to maintaining efficient operations and upholding the company’s reputation for service excellence.Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to all Health & Safety protocols.
  • Conduct fault-finding, servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of powered access and material handling equipment.
  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering collaboration and a high-performance culture across all depots.
  • Perform routine service and preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
  • Accurately complete and manage supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Depot and Management teams to source spare parts, ensuring cost-effective and timely repairs.
  • Coordinate breakdown calls and dispatch mobile engineers to customer sites.
  • Maintain comprehensive service records in line with company policies.
  • Ensure all machinery is kept in a serviceable, clean, and presentable condition.
  • Manage the damage recharge process and ensure prompt resolution.
  • Drive productivity to meet and exceed company performance targets.
  • Represent the company professionally, ensuring excellent customer interactions and upholding the company's values.
  • Provide KPI statistics and performance data to the Engineering Manager as required.
About You:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction or equipment rental industry.
  • Expertise in plant equipment, diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostic fault finding.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, with excellent problem-solving and task prioritisation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
