- Ensure a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to all Health & Safety protocols.
- Conduct fault-finding, servicing, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of powered access and material handling equipment.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering collaboration and a high-performance culture across all depots.
- Perform routine service and preventative maintenance on all machinery and equipment.
- Accurately complete and manage supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Collaborate with the Depot and Management teams to source spare parts, ensuring cost-effective and timely repairs.
- Coordinate breakdown calls and dispatch mobile engineers to customer sites.
- Maintain comprehensive service records in line with company policies.
- Ensure all machinery is kept in a serviceable, clean, and presentable condition.
- Manage the damage recharge process and ensure prompt resolution.
- Drive productivity to meet and exceed company performance targets.
- Represent the company professionally, ensuring excellent customer interactions and upholding the company's values.
- Provide KPI statistics and performance data to the Engineering Manager as required.
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction or equipment rental industry.
- Expertise in plant equipment, diesel engineering, auto electrics, hydraulics, and diagnostic fault finding.
- Ability to work well under pressure, with excellent problem-solving and task prioritisation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
