Nelson Recruitment Services is looking for an experienced Material Handler with an overhead crane license for a exciting client based in West Bromwich who will be responsible for the safe and efficient offloading of raw materials into the clients site.
Duties:
- Operate material handling equipment such as cranes and forklifts
- Offload, identify and safely store raw material in coil and flat sheet form
- Take responsibility for inspection goods for quality and quantity
- Enter traceability data into manual and/or electronic records
- Ensure good levels of 5S are maintained in the area
- Be involved in continuous improvement processes 7 driving through improvements in all aspects of the role
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed
- Performs Other Duties as Assigned.
Pay:12.00 - 15.00
Hours:Rotating Shift 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00
Ideal Candidate:
- Must hold an overhead crane license
- The ideal candidate must of previously worked in a factory setting for a minimum of 12 months.
- Ideally worked in a similar position
- Must be able to commit to rotating shifts
