A Steel Operative / Material Handler / Overhead Crane Operator is required for a multi-national steel processing company based in West Bromwich. Operating overhead cranes to move steel around the workplace, feeding the machine lines and loading/unloading vehicles for dispatch.
Duties of the role include;
- Operating overhead cranes to handle steel
- Operating counterbalance forklift trucks
- Helping to load and unload machines
- Loading and unloading vehicles for delivery
- Any other duties as and when required
You will be working on a day shift;
- Monday - Friday 6am - 4pm (1pm finish Fridays)
This role will be;
- Working on a temp-to-perm basis with long term opportunities
- Weekly pay whilst on the agency
- Paying £13.42 per hour
