Compliance Officer

**Compliance Officer needed for a Food Manufacturing business in West Bromwich**

This esteemed company in the food industry is searching for a dedicated Compliance Officer to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. 

This is working a day shift Monday to Friday, (40 hours per week), and the role comes with an attractive salary up to £38,000 per annum (dependant on experience).

The hiring manager is looking for someone who has previous experience within the food manufacturing industry, and has previous experience with completing HACCP documentation and complying with BRC standards.

**What You Will Do:**

As a Compliance Officer, your responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring HACCP documentation is accurately completed and properly maintained.
• Taking charge of customer complaint handling and conducting thorough investigations to identify root causes.
• Assisting with Internal Auditing to uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance.
• Managing laundry and consumable resources efficiently.
• Supporting the Quality team in their daily operations and objectives.
• Playing a vital role in the HACCP team, contributing to the safety and quality of products.

**What You Will Bring:**

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A strong understanding of BRC audit procedures (preferred).
• A minimum of HACCP level 3 or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience in team management.
• Internal Auditing experience (preferred).
• A proactive and diligent approach to tasks, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Location:**

This opportunity is based in West Bromwich, operating Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 5:00, ensuring a healthy work-life balance.
