Office Angels are looking for a switched-on Finance Assistant to join an established Multi-Academy Trust of primary and secondary academies across the West Midlands. This is a great opportunity to work within a successful company within a small and friendly team working across two sites in West Bromwich. HOURS: 8am - 4pm Monday to Thursday, 8am - 3.30pm Friday

START: ASAP - Willing to wait notice

SALARY: £27000 (£14.15 hourly rate)

CONTRACT: Temporary to Permanent

LOCATION: West Bromwich

Main Duties:

  • First point of contact
  • Trips reconciliation
  • E-mailing orders to suppliers
  • Payment of Invoices
  • Sending out bacs remittances
  • Dealing with payment queries
  • Reconciling supplier statements / expenses
  • Printing of Budget Manager reports as required
  • Processing of expenses
  • Credit card transactions coding and reconciliation
  • Checking finance e-mail account daily and clearing
  • Assist with the preparation of the budget pack for Budget Managers
  • Assisting the Finance Officer with the preparation of both month and year end file
  • Chasing of debtor invoicing debt

Requirements:

  • High attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills, experience MS Office packages including Excel
  • Experience on Sage
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent organisation
  • Able to prioritise tasks, meeting tight deadlines
