Job Description:
As a General Cover Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across various subjects in the absence of the regular teacher
- Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment ?
- Adapt to different school settings and work with diverse student groups ??
- Follow the school’s policies and procedures to maintain consistency and continuity
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach and manage classes effectively, using a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles
- Provide support to students and help them achieve their learning objectives
- Mark and assess students’ work, providing constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to support the overall educational experience
Requirements:
- Experience in teaching at the secondary school level ?
- Strong classroom management skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and subjects
- Excellent communication and organisational skills ?
- A valid DBS check or willingness to undergo one
