Our client is a well-established company that has been trading for over 50 years in specialising in the repair of refuse collection vehicles. They have an exciting new opportunity for someone to join their HGV Automotive Technicians team.

Job Details

• Carry out preventative maintenance in all areas and inspections to the highest standard ensuring all vehicles are safe and road tested prior to confirming completion.
• Undertake MOT Prep & Servicing to HGV Vehicles
• Undertake Servicing and repairs to Body & Hydraulics on HGV Vehicles
• You'll work independently to maintain and repair on the vehicles and components.
• Ensure good housekeeping of the Workshop & vehicles and your work area at all times.
• Where required, collect and deliver vehicles.
• Work with VMU shift Co-ordinator / FLM and Logistics team to ensure vehicle availability in accordance with delivery schedules.
• To ensure the effective use of resources available to carry out specific tasks or duties.

Qualifications

• Heavy goods level 2 or 3 required 
• Strong organisation skills
• Excellent communication
• The ability to work alone and manage your own time
• Demonstrated ability to make decisions
