Transport Co-Ordinator

Our client, a well-established business within the West Bromwich area, are currently recruiting for an experienced Transport Co-Ordinator to join their team. As a Transport Co-Ordinator you will be faced with a range of duties to ensure the smooth running within the Transport department.

Main job responsibilities:

  • To direct and support drivers when needed.
  • Produce reports as and when needed.
  • Answering telephones.
  • Check driver’s licenses to ensure they’re suitable to drive.
  • Plan drivers journeys accordingly and in a timely manner.
  • Inspect vehicle cleanliness after journeys.
  • Taking bookings and managing the diary.

Person specification:

  • Understanding of O license requirements.
  • Familiar with R2C/RHA/Navman/Autonis/TN360
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Previous transport experience is a must.
