CNC Sliding Head Programmer Setter Operator

Shorterm group are currently working with a cutting edge manufacturing company who provide components for a variety of industries including automotive, architectural and some sub-con work.They are looking to take on a highly experience CNC Sliding head programmer, setter operator on a full time permanent basis. The role can lead on to Team leader and potentially further for the right candidate.In there modern and pristine site the machines the candidate will be using will be Fanuc (Star and Tornos Gamma).They run a day shift of 39 hours. The normal working hours are 8-5 Monday to Thursday and 8-1pm Friday with a pay rate of £15ph - £20ph and an overtime rate of 1.5x.The requirement for this role would be that you are highly experience machinist with sliding head experience, internal training will be provided to adapt your skills to the star and tornos gamma machinery.Benefits include:22 days holiday with an extra day each year to a maximum of 25 days.
