Overview
We are seeking a Workshop Manager to oversee and manage our clients workshop operations. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a CNC programmer, setter, and operator, as well as experience working with turning, milling, mill turning, and sliding head machines. The Workshop Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the workshop and maximizing productivity while maintaining a safe and inclusive working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise workshop staff, providing leadership and support.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement best practices for a safe working environment.
  • Oversee the scheduling and allocation of work to ensure efficient use of resources and on-time delivery of projects.
  • Maintain and optimize workshop processes and procedures to improve productivity and quality standards.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of workshop staff.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate workflow and achieve overall company goals.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a CNC programmer, setter, and operator.
  • Proficiency in working with turning, milling, mill turning, and sliding head machines.
  • Proven managerial or supervisory experience, with strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in a workshop environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
