A leading manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their UK team.

Part time role 25-30 hours per week. You will be pivotal in ensuring the financial operations of the business run smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with UK standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accounting and Reporting: Manage daily and monthly accounting tasks, including processing invoices, credit notes, and bank reconciliations in SAP. Prepare month-end reports and coordinate year-end accounts with auditors.
  • Financial Operations: Oversee accounts payable, manage payroll administration, and conduct monthly payroll and quarterly VAT reconciliations. Maintain fixed asset registers and manage credit control.
  • Compliance and Risk: Ensure compliance with UK tax requirements and HMRC regulations, including coordinating with tax accountants. Work with the Country Manager to identify and mitigate business risks.
  • Audit and Budgeting: Lead the preparation of annual audits, establish cost budgets, and monitor expenditures against budgeted costs.
  • Banking and Investments: Maintain secure banking practices and manage company investments in line with company objectives.

Professional Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with robust technical accounting knowledge.
  • Proven expertise in SAP and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Experience in stock control, month-end processing, and managing annual audits.
