4Site Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager for a £1.5m new build project in Richmond. This 3-story timber construction with a basement requires a hands-on, site-focused professional to manage Health & Safety, liaise with building control, and oversee the daily operations of the site and subcontractors. The ideal candidate will work directly with the MD to drive the project from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on-site management as the primary point of contact.
- Enforce and maintain Health & Safety standards.
- Coordinate with building control and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Oversee subcontractors and ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Utilize MS Project or ASTA, along with Excel and Word, to manage and adjust project schedules and programs.
About the Candidate:
- Qualifications: SMSTS and First Aid certified.
- Background: Must have a trade background, ideally with hands-on site management experience across a variety of high-end residential conversions, refurbs, loft conversions, and retrofits.
- Experience: Proven experience managing similar projects independently, especially within high-spec residential builds.
- Personal Attributes: Looking for a grounded, practical leader willing to get involved in all aspects of the site. Must be approachable, open to feedback, and able to collaborate effectively with the team.

- Start Date: Likely early in the new year.
- Hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
