Your Role

Your role will first and foremost be to carry out Legionella Risk Assessments. However, you will additionally be required to also carry out PPM and reactive maintenance within water hygiene.

This role involves conducting water safety assessments and performing essential maintenance tasks, ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Performing in-depth water safety evaluations aligned with UK guidelines like ACOP L8, HSG 274, and HTM/SHTM standards.
  • Cleaning and disinfecting water systems, monitoring temperatures, and servicing key components like TMVs.
  • Executing preventative maintenance schedules and addressing client-specific needs.
  • Create precise schematic diagrams and produce detailed reports within agreed deadlines.
  • Providing expert advice to clients, outlining necessary remedial measures.
  • Collaborating with Account Managers to develop accurate remedial work estimates.
  • Analysing laboratory data and advising clients on the next steps to ensure compliance.

Your Skills and Experience

  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in water safety and risk assessment.
  • Solid understanding of UK regulations governing water hygiene.
  • Exceptional communication, organisational, and report-writing skills.
  • Proficient with computer software, including schematic drawing tools.
  • Basic plumbing expertise is advantageous- however not essential.
  • Full UK driving license and willingness to travel, including overnight stays.
  • Membership in Disclosure Scotland PVG Scheme (mandatory).

Working Hours
