Contracts Manager
Our client, a leading engineering contractor, are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the team looking after projects, predominantly in East and Central Scotland.
This role is pivotal to the business and requires someone with a strong engineering background with proven experience in a management role. You will also ideally come from an engineering related background where you have worked your way up and have the technical knowledge to understand drawings and the administration side of the role.
Your key responsibilities will be to get involved early in the project process at the estimating stage. The Contracts Manager would have overall responsibility for procurement, programming, health and safety and quality management. They would also work closely with the commercial team providing information on potential variations to contract and new opportunities.
Working predominantly out on site, you will also be expected to go into the office for meetings and to complete administration, reports etc.
Your package for this challenging and rewarding role will include a salary of up to 70k (flexibility DOE) + an excellent benefits package , training and development.
