Customer Service Advisor required!

My client is a leading UK logistics company, specialising in next-day and same-day delivery of air and sea freight. They are now looking for a Customer Liaison Officer to join their friendly, dynamic team, playing a crucial role in managing and developing the team.

Working as part of a team as a key interface between Circle Express and customers. Monitoring jobs daily; liaising with relevant departments internally and inter depots; answering queries and provide information to customers within a specific time-frame.

(Customer Service Advisor) - Position Responsibilities

As a Customer Liaison Officer, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Supporting customers by phone and email. Handling queries quickly and efficiently and maintaining a high standard of communication.
  • Ensuring correct team standards of customer communication are reached.
  • Liaising with the operations team, drivers, warehouse staff and other depots regarding collections and deliveries.
  • Ensuring hard copy PODs are returned to customers within the required time-frames.
  • Good verbal and written dialogue with internal and external contacts / users at all times.
  • Sending excel reports as and when required to customers.
  • Working collaboratively with the team to identify challenges and find solutions.

(Customer Service Advisor) - Position Requirements

  • At least 2 years work experience in a customer service role.
  • Previous data entry experience.
  • Good IT skills, with previous experience of using Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Ability to work to deadlines in a time sensitive environment.
  • Good communication skills
  • Strong administration skills
  • Ability to understand and solve customer queries in a calm and professional manner.

(Customer Service Advisor) - Position Remuneration

  • £24,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience)
  • Monday - Friday
  • 09:00 - 18:00 - 1 hour unpaid break (Contractual 40 hours per week)
  • 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays (33 days holiday in total)
  • Auto enrolment pension
  • 1 month notice after probation
