Are you a skilled and experienced professional in critical facilities infrastructure? We're seeking an Engineering Shift Leader to start at a Data Centre in West Drayton.
About the Role:
As an Engineering Shift Leader, you will lead the engineering shift team, ensuring the effective inspection, operation, and maintenance of critical Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) assets. Your focus will be on risk management, enhancing service quality, and maintaining a Safety-First culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the site-based engineering team, including MEP responsibilities.
- Operate all facility systems effectively, including Medium Voltage (MV) Switching Operations.
- Plan and oversee Specialist Vendor works, ensuring compliance with Change Management processes.
- Manage the Corrigo CMMS system to track and complete PPM, Reactive, and Corrective Work Orders.
- Attend client and operational meetings, preparing technical reports as needed.
- Ensure compliance with SLA agreements and escalate critical operational issues promptly.
- Lead the development and training of engineers within the team, including scenario-based infrastructure training.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Critical Environments such as Banking HQs or Data Centres.
- HV Authorised Person certification and familiarity with HV systems.
- Electrical/Mechanical Engineering HNC or HND with relevant apprenticeship.
- 17th Edition IEE certification, with the ability to achieve 18th Edition.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Salary & Benefits:
