Salary: £95 - £120 per day (D.O.E)

A reputable SEMH school in West Drayton, London (UB7) providing KS3/4 students with a specific curriculum to further student's education based on their ability is a seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Teaching assistant. You will be responsible to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will work to provide the curated curriculum designed in supporting pupils who are at risk or have other needs preventing them from attending school.

The school are keen to meet individuals who have experience assisting to teach KS3-KS4 Music/Humanities. If you can support dynamic, high energy and engaging lessons, we'd love to hear from you. You'll be joining a tight-knit team, working towards raising student attainment through outstanding teaching. You'll also receive ongoing support and training from the school. The successful applicant will have experience teaching music production & humanities across KS3-KS4.

Skills and experience required

  • Confident teaching Music/Humanities at KS3-KS4
  • Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high
  • Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example
  • Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies

Each candidate will be subject to a DBS and police check where required. A successful candidate will also provide at least two references from their previous employer/s.
