Are you a skilled Electrical Engineer with a passion for critical infrastructure? We're seeking an Electrical Shift Engineer to start at a Data Centre in West Drayton.

About the Role:
As an Electrical Shift Engineer, you will play a vital role in the inspection, operation, and maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) assets within a critical facility. Your expertise in electrical systems will drive risk management and enhance service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate all MEP systems within the Critical Facility/Data Centre confidently, with a focus on electrical systems.
  • Lead Planned, Corrective, and Reactive Maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with Specialist Vendors during service visits and communicate outcomes to the Shift Leader.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and critical spares used.
  • Participate in Health and Safety activities, including hazard reporting and toolbox talks.
  • Complete Work Orders in line with SFG20 and ensure asset reliability.
  • Escalate potential risks with assessments of impact and mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Critical Environments, such as Banking HQs or Data Centres.
  • Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (Mechanical experience is desirable).
  • HVAC Engineering experience.
  • Strong IT and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities under pressure.
  • Willingness to attend on and off-site training, including HV Authorised Person Training.
