Are you passionate about empowering young people and helping them unlock their full potential? We are looking for a dedicated Career/Employability Mentor to support KS3, KS4, and KS5 students in their career development journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing support, motivation, and encouragement throughout the job search process, helping students stay positive and resilient.
  • Empower individuals to enhance their employability and achieve their career aspirations.
  • Offer personalised advice on career options, assisting students in identifying their strengths, interests, and values to align with potential career paths.
  • Assist in developing essential employability skills, such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and adaptability.
  • Guide students in effective job search strategies, including using job boards, social media, and direct outreach to employers.
  • Encourage self-reflection and personal growth, helping students set achievable career goals and develop a long-term career plan.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience mentoring or supporting young people in career development.
  • Strong understanding of employability skills and job search strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Patience and adaptability to work with a range of learning needs and abilities.
