WE are working on behalf of one of our clients for this Temp to Perm position. This is a NIGHT shift role

JOB PURPOSE
To support the production activities on a shift basis, ensuring that the individual shift teams have the skills and competencyto deliver business led volumes against team objectives and targets whilst maintaining HSE standards, Quality and adherence to the overall plan.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERTISE
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive manufacturing experience with a mechanical engineering background and will be able to demonstrate a track record of implementing a robust repeatable processes within operations.
  • The individual will have the ability to engage, influence and demonstrate a positive coaching style to improve performance and give honest feedback to the team. The person will look for opportunities to engage and involve the other shifts at all times to give consistency and continuity across the operation.
  • The individual must take ownership of tasks which will take exceptional communication skills to identify people and process improvements, agree a plan of action, create the supporting documentation, then deliver the requirements. ie training of the team, introduction to new works procedure or setting guide change to improve process.
  • The individual will need to be strong fit from a personality and values perspective and be able to demonstrate a collaborative and entrepreneurial drive with a keen interest in mentoring and developing the existing and future team.
  • Mechanical engineering skills would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of HSE processes and standards.
