About the Job:As a Group Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing group-wide financial analyses and disclosures, ensuring adherence to IFRS standards. You will play a key role in consolidating the Group’s cashflow statement and supporting the Group’s financial performance through detailed reporting and technical accounting analysis.

Duties will include:

  • Preparation of Group impairment and going concern analysis, with associated disclosures for financial statements.
  • Support in delivering finance training to the Group finance community alongside senior colleagues.
  • Conduct IFRS accounting analysis and manage disclosure impacts across the Group.
  • Contribute to the research and impact analysis of new accounting standards.
  • Manage Group accounting and reporting manuals in line with IFRS standards.
  • Prepare and review financial information for external disclosures, including results releases and financing materials.
  • Consolidate the Group cashflow statement, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and best practice.
  • Engage with auditors on technical accounting areas and financial statement notes.
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and support on financial reporting projects.
  • Potential quarterly travel to overseas entities to foster relationships with key stakeholders.

About the Successful Applicant:You will be a finalist or qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong financial accounting and reporting experience, ideally within a listed Group environment. Proficiency in Excel is essential, and knowledge of SAP is an advantage. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively in a team, and demonstrate strong analytical abilities with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
