Butler Rose is working with a large FTSE250 organisation in their search for a Finance Business Partner to join their Team. This is a temp role till March 2025 and will pay up to £450 per day. This is a hybrid role (3 days in Heathrow office) The Finance Business Partner will be the primary point of contact for Heathrow IRC (Immigration Removal Centre), ensuring effective communication and collaboration with all stakeholders to drive financial insights and support strategic decision-making. In collaboration with operational teams, you will focus on cost management and investment decisions, while assisting in the annual budgeting and forecasting processes to identify potential risks and opportunities. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Work alongside the finance and operations teams to support in delivering the divisional objectives and strategy. * Work closely with the Contract Director and budget holders to provide high quality financial information to support decision making. * Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders. * Produce the month end reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) in line with Group timetables and provide transparent contract finance reporting that will withstand management scrutiny/challenge. * Own and update the Risks and Opportunities log for the contract. * Producing accurate accounting of accrued and deferred income on a monthly basis, with clear visibility. and communication to the business on non-current debt. * Ensure accurate and timely client billing by agreeing proposed charges with clients in advance of billing. * Partnering with operational managers and departmental heads to prepare full annual budgets and periodic forecasts which will require travel to operational sites. * Provide commercial support as required. * Play an active role in external/internal audits to ensure all audits are completed successfully. * Ad hoc analysis and presentation of complex financial information in response to senior management requests. Education, Experience, and skills required: * Qualified Accountant (ACA, CA, CIMA, ACCA). * Good knowledge of finance and operational processes and systems ('hands-on' use of SAP, TM1 and FDW) * Experience in delivering finance and commercial targets, providing high-quality financial information, and producing timely reports. * Possess strong technical skills, comprehensive knowledge of current accounting standards, exceptional analytical abilities, and an aptitude for resolving complex issues. * Ability to identify and implement process improvements to improve processes. * Knowledge of Care & Custody sector/environment would be advantageous. * High level of integrity.
