Appointed Person

Bennett and game are currently working with a leading structural steel fabricator who are looking for a Appointed Person for a few sites that have starting on Heathrow Airport in the coming months. Our client has excellent growth and expansion plans within the aviation sector where they are currently working with some high-profile clients.

As the Appointed Person, who will be responsible for the daily operations on site. Ensuring the site remains health and safety compliant and is being delivered to the client specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidates to be a part of a growing business and grow themselves as a professional.

• Prepare and review risk assessments, method statements, fire emergency plans, and critical lift plans to ensure safe and documented procedures.
• Ensure all construction activities are planned and executed in accordance with safety policies, objectives, and manuals.
• Coordinate logistics and deliveries from subcontractors to the site, ensuring smooth and timely operations.
• Conduct DABS briefings, pre-start briefings, and Point of Work Risk Assessments (P.O.W.R.A.).
• Lead site inductions for subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures.
• Site Based Role.

• Relevant experience within civil and structural engineering, ideally would be working on structural steel projects
• SMSTS- Site Management Safety Training Scheme
• IOSH Management Safety
• CSCS
• Appointed Person Ticket
• Lifting Operations experience

• Salary: £60k - £70k
• Pension - statuary
• Site based
