My client is based in West Drayton and seeking for a Junior Fine Art Technician to join their business. My client is a premier fine art shipping company that excels in the secure and efficient transport of valuable artworks and collectibles globally. Emphasizing technology and customer-focused solutions they cater to a diverse clientele, including art galleries, antique dealers, auction houses, online platforms, and interior designers.

A full-time permanent role looking to recruit as soon as possible.

Salary - 22k- 25k (no experience required). Willing to pay up to 28k for a candidate that holds experience in art packing.

Your Role.

You will be instrumental in the handling, packaging, and transportation of artworks, antiques, and interior design objects, ensuring their integrity and safety at every stage—from collection to installation.

Your meticulous attention to detail and expertise will significantly enhance the quality of service and drive customer satisfaction.

Duties.

  • Ensure safe handling of artworks: Carefully manage artworks, antiques, and design furniture, using best practices to maintain their integrity.
  • Perform detailed condition reports before and after each handling: Accurately document the condition of each item before and after handling to ensure thorough traceability and preservation.
  • Packaging and protection of items: Carefully package items, choosing appropriate materials and methods (crating, padding, foam, etc.) to minimize the risk of damage during transport.
  • Loading and unloading operations: Conduct the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring secure fixation of crates and packages, either manually or with lifting equipment as needed.
  • Ensure tracking and storage of items: Utilize our inventory management system to effectively monitor and record the movements, locations, and statuses of artworks.
  • Collaborate with logistics and customer service teams: Provide timely support to the warehouse team, operational staff, and customer service, ensuring smooth administrative management.
