A lovely Primary School in Hillingdon, are looking for a HLTA with SEND experience to work within their alternative provision.

The Role

In this SEND HLTA role you will be leading the in-house alternative provision for complex needs Reception/Y1 pupils and oversee SEMH provision for Upper KS2 children.  The role is split between these school priorities and the right candidate is able to lead others to establish the appropriate provision. You will work closely with our SENCO to identify gaps in the provision, and upskill staff.

The school are looking for an HLTA with the following:

  • Extensive experience in SEND
  • The ability to lead others
  • The ability to model best practice of adult-pupil interactions.
  • A proactive and positive approach to improving SEND provision

An HLTA qualification is preferred although not essential.

The School

This large three-form entry primary school is situated in Hillingdon.  The school is popular within the local community and there is good parental support for the school. They provide a broad and balanced curriculum which includes first hand experiences to challenge, motivate and include all pupils including those with SEND. Staff at the school are welcoming and friendly. This Academy is rated “good” by Ofsted, and looks after the wellbeing of both their students and staff.
