Sonic Summary

The company is seeking an individual for an imports position that offers progression to a team leader/supervisor role after probation.
Candidates will work with operations clerks and be the main contact for customers, providing and obtaining quotes from freight forwarders.
Responsibilities include invoicing customers, managing tariff codes, and ensuring high customer service standards.
A strong understanding of shipping parts is required, although customs entries will be handled by the in-house logistics team.
The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in imports, with a salary range of $50,000 to $60,000.

We are recruiting for a company who are growing and looking for someone within imports who after probation would progress to team leader / supervisor level.

You will be working alongside a team of operations clerks. This company supply and sell aircraft parts & engines and you will be main contact for customers, you will be offering quotes and gaining quotes from freight forwarders for the imports. Invoicing customers and tariff codes.

They have own in house logistics team so whilst you wont be completing customs entries you do need a strong understanding of the shipping of parts and the ability to provide a high level of customer service to companies to arrange the freight via a third party freight agent.

Once you have passed probation you will be then looking after a small team of staff and assist with training and ensuring they have all the help they need and assist with recruiting new staff and reporting directly to the senior operations manager.
