The Opportunity: We are looking for a seasoned Senior Transport / Courier Operations Manager with a strong, service-driven management style. If you have a passion for driving change and setting high standards of client care, this role is for you. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our services meet and exceed client expectations, while also optimizing the operational efficiency of our depot.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate completion of all operational reports.
- Compliance: Oversee the compliance of all drivers, including PAYE and Independent Service Providers
- Operational Oversight: Pro-actively monitor and review the service performance job by job, ensuring every task meets our high standards.
- Staff Development: Train, mentor, and develop team members to maintain a high-performing operation.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Client & Driver Support: Proven experience in managing client and Senior Leadership relationships.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Air Freight industry and Aviation Security.
- Pressure Management: Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
- Decision Making: Strong decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering results using data from P&L reports
- Organisational Skills: Highly organized with exceptional time management abilities.
- Professionalism: Always acts with professionalism, confidence, and integrity.
