Warehouse Supervisor required for a leading Transport & Freight Supplier in the Heathrow area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys managing a small team (6) a fast-paced, packing focused environment.....
It is imperative that you have some supervision experience and strong communication skills and at least one year expeirence in a senior role with the ability to organise a small team.
Duties and Responsibilities
This is a list of the main duties of the role and should not be considered an exhaustive list of duties.
- Supervise the team to ensure they meet and maintain all targets in regard to work requirements.
- Liaise with the Client and the management team to ensure smooth running of the operation.
- Packing / Build bags for flights accurately and correctly.
- Build packs correctly.
- Build flight requirement paperwork.
- Report to the Facilities & Key Account Manager, all issues affecting safety and the security of the warehouse, colleagues and visitors.
- Ensure that the warehouse area is kept clean and tidy.
- Ensure all products are ready for X-Ray.
- Ensure all paperwork is correct for transport.
Experience & Qualifications
- At least 2 years working experience in a Warehouse / Packing operation.
- To undertake Cargo Operative training upon successful completion of vetting process.
- An understanding of Health & Safety, Site Security awareness and Data Protection.
