Job Title: Behaviour Teaching Assistant

Location: West Drayton, London

Salary: £95+ per day (DOE)

Contract: Full-time (term-time only)

A reputable SEMH school in West Drayton, Hillingdon (UB7) providing KS3/4 students with a specific curriculum to further student's education based on their ability is a seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Support Teaching assistant. You will be responsible to provide a safe and inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will work to provide the curated curriculum designed in supporting pupils who are at risk or have other needs preventing them from attending school.

About the School:

  • Caters for children that have been excluded from mainstream schools for a varitety of different behaviour, social, emotional and mental health reasons.
  • Students with identified Special needs that require additional support in facilitating their learning.
  • Students who would not normally be able to attend school due to medical reasons.
  • A transient cohort who joins and leave during different point throughout the school year dependant on their needs.

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Have experience working with/SEMH students (desirable)
  • Have experience working with challenging behaviour/ SEMH.
  • Eligible to work in the UK (must have a valid visa)
  • Recent classroom-based references and valid DBS/Police checks

Each candidate will be subject to a DBS and police check where required. A successful candidate will also provide at least two references from their previous employer/s.
