Uniform Education is working in partnership with a Special Secondary School located in West Drayton.
They are looking to appoint an Art Teacher to join the team.
The school is looking to appoint an Art Teacher to start immediately on a long-term contract till the end of the academic year.
This position is full-time Monday to Friday. 8:30am to 4:00pm.
The school will pay to scale.
Art Teacher
- Planning and delivering Art Lessons to students with SEMH and challenging behaviour
- Inspiring students to express themselves with various art forms and techniques
- Tailor lesson plans that align with students EHCP
- Collaborating with colleagues to organise extracurricular activities
Qualifications and Person Specification
- QTS
- Art degree or equivalent
- Experience teaching SEN needs including: SEMH, Challenging Behaviour, ADHD, ASC
- Strong classroom management skills, creating an environment conducive to artistic exploration.
- Ongoing development and staying updated with art techniques.
