This is an exciting opportunity to apply for a English Teaching assistant post at a secondary school in West Drayton. This is a SEMH based secondary school for 11 to 18 year olds with EHCP's.
The school are keen to meet individuals who have experience assisting KS3-KS4 English or with relvant experience working with challenging behaviours. If you can support dynamic, high energy and engaging lessons, we'd love to hear from you. You'll be joining a tight-knit team, working towards raising student attainment through outstanding teaching. You'll also receive ongoing support and training from the school. The successful applicant will have a relevant English degree or English LSA experience across KS3-KS4.Skills and experience required
- Confident teaching English at KS3-KS4
- Be proven to raise and maintain attainment levels, keeping standards high
- Be an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual who leads by example
- Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills with excellent behaviour management strategies
Each candidate will be subject to a DBS and police check where required. A successful candidate will also provide at least two references from their previous employer/s.
