We are looking for a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and dynamic school in Hillingdon. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.

The school caters for students aged 5-11 years of age with Autism & Severe Learning Difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in a classroom setting

Assist the class teacher with planning and implementing effective learning activities

Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

Support students' emotional, social, and academic development

Help manage behaviour and ensure the safety and well-being of all students

Work closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to meet individual student needs

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable

A caring and patient approach with a genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, are preferred but not essential
