We are seeking to recruit a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher who as part of the innovative curriculum will inspire students to develop essential cooking skills, understand nutrition, and explore the science behind food. You’ll play a key role in fostering creativity and healthy living in a supportive and dynamic learning environment.Key Responsibilities:• Effectively plan lessons that are stimulating, relevant and well-structured• Work with members of the Senior Leadership Team in the development, review and evaluation of the curriculum• Ensure that all learning equipment is in good order and available for the delivery of lessons• Organise a person-centred learning environment allowing students to take ownership of their learning and ambitions• Maintain a practical understanding of service standards and quality improvement initiatives relevant to the curriculum area• Liaise with members of the support and therapeutic team and, as appropriate with parents/carers in the support of learners• Promote good student behaviourThe Successful candidate will: Hold a recognised full teaching qualification such as QTS or be willing to undergo teacher training in line with current regulations and hold a relevant degree of equivalent qualification.If you feel that the role fits your knowledge and experience.
