About the role:
- Design and implement engaging IT lessons that align with educational standards and cater to diverse learning needs.
- Create detailed lesson plans that incorporate hands-on activities and projects, fostering interactive learning experiences.
- Employ effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Organize and maintain IT resources and equipment, ensuring they are readily available and safe for student use.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with IT trends and educational practices.
- Ensure that all classroom activities adhere to health and safety regulations, promoting a safe learning environment.
The ideal candidate must:
- Have the right to work within the UK
- Have experience working within a classroom
- DBS registered on the update system or willing to purchase one
- Be comfortable and adaptable working in different environments
- Good subject knowledge of IT curriculum
- Have strong classroom management skills.
- A QTS or PGCE or overseas trained teacher to UK equivalent
- Marking and planning are compulsory with this role
