About the role:

  • Design and implement engaging IT lessons that align with educational standards and cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Create detailed lesson plans that incorporate hands-on activities and projects, fostering interactive learning experiences.
  • Employ effective classroom management strategies to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Organize and maintain IT resources and equipment, ensuring they are readily available and safe for student use.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with IT trends and educational practices.
  • Ensure that all classroom activities adhere to health and safety regulations, promoting a safe learning environment.

The ideal candidate must:

  • Have the right to work within the UK
  • Have experience working within a classroom
  • DBS registered on the update system or willing to purchase one
  • Be comfortable and adaptable working in different environments
  • Good subject knowledge of IT curriculum
  • Have strong classroom management skills.
  • A QTS or PGCE or overseas trained teacher to UK equivalent
  • Marking and planning are compulsory with this role
