We are seeking a passionate and dedicatedPrimary SEN Teacherto join a thriving and supportive, OFSTED GOOD, mainstream primary school in Hillingdon, UB7. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire and nurture a small group of young learners in Reception &Year 1 within their well equippedalternative provision.

You will be helping them to reach their full potential in a stimulating and creative environment, there are 11 students in the morning and 4 in the afternoon - with a strong team of LSAs and a HLTA to support you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the national curriculum.
  • Teach a small group of students with SEN including ASD, some who are non verbal and some who are verbal.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support development
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure the best outcomes for children.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching in a primary school OR SEN setting
  • A strong understanding of the Britishcurriculum and the ability to tailor lessons to meet the needs of SEN.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
