There is a Provision in the London Borough of Hillingdon recruiting for a Behaviour Mentor to start as soon as possible. The school caters for pupils who cannot attend mainstream school for a variety of reasons, predominantly permanent exclusion. Due to the nature of the provision and the range of students' needs, its cohort is transient; students join and leave at different points throughout the school year.
The role
- Carrying out behaviour management in line with the school's policies and procedures
- Supporting pupils inside and outside the classroom.
- Accompanying and supporting students with their academic and personal development.
- Being proactive in the class to ensure your learning support is tailored to each child's individual need.
- Supporting a mixed class of students aged 12 -16 (KS3 & KS4).
