We have a great opportunity for a Construction Manager working with a Stone contractor in Central London on a project due to run for 3-4 months.
The Projects is an external stone works package, consisting of stone excavation, stone cleaning, and repointing. The Manager must have previous experience in stone works, specifically Portland Stone
Scope of works include temporary works, stone excavation, cleaning and repointing.
You will be reporting to the Senior Project Manager. Whilst managing the site, you must also be maintaining a high standard of health & safety while ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.
The project is working for a high end main contractor who pride themselves on excellent finishes who requires someone with an excellent eye for detail.
The ideal Site Manager must have:
- Have extensive stone works experience/
- Longevity in roles with some of the contractors in the industry
- Understanding of programmes and ability to handle minutes efficiently
- Experience successfully running fit out projects as a Construction Manager
- Interpersonal skills so you can get on with the rest of the team
- SMSTS, First Aid, Fire Marshall and Black Card/NVQ Level 6 certs
