Role summary -

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and professional Customer Services Officer to join the Customer Experience Department within the Housing Repairs and Community sector. This role is pivotal in providing and promoting a high-quality, front-line customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal with telephone enquiries housing repairs from customers in a professional manner, consistent with corporate customer services standards and targets.
  • Use all available ICT systems to provide accurate advice, resolve enquires, raise orders, with correct level of priority and maintain and update records on behalf of the customer and ensure that duties are undertaken with regard and compliance of the Data Protection Act and other relevant legislation.
  • Establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues to ensure a 'one team approach' to the delivery of the Contact Centre's performance standards and the business objectives.
  • Liaise and work with colleagues across the company, contractors and other partner agencies as appropriate to resolve enquiries.
  • Be a team player in a customer-focused team, contributing to meetings, team building and continuous improvement.
  • Take ownership and responsibility for all enquiries presented to the Customer Service Centre, identify customer needs, and utilising appropriate questioning and listening skills to identify and offer appropriate solutions.
  • Carry out all administrative tasks relating to the Contact Centre and any necessary follow-up work in relation to incoming calls.
  • Encourage and assist customers to access company services, forms and information via the Company's website.
  • Carry out all duties in accordance with the Company's Health & Safety policy.
  • Perform any other duties consistent with responsibilities and level for the role.
