Finance Manager

This Finance Manager will give an experience part-qualified accountant the opportunity to lead the transnational finance team, support the Financial Controller and help the company continue their fast growth.

My client are a fast-growing, scale up technology company looking to expand their London finance team. Following a recent acquisition the finance team need additional support and leadership.

Description

As the Finance Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing and managing two accounts assistants
• Reviewing purchase and sales invoices uploaded by the accounts assistants
• Approving payment runs prepared by accounts assistants
• Reviewing and reconciling the balance sheet & profit and loss accounts on weekly and monthly basis
• Posting journals (payroll, accruals and prepayments)
• Preparing budgets and forecast on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis
• Supporting with variance analysis and ad hoc reports
• Liaising with external and internal stakeholders including auditors

Profile

The successful Finance Manager:

• AAT qualified or Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent
• Previous management experience is essential
• Strong excel ability
• Strong accounting system experience
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Demonstrable previous process improvement and implementation experience is desirable
• Experience in SME company is desirable

Job Offer

• 50,000 - 60,000 salary
