About the Role

As a Year 4 Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students aged 8-9. You will work closely with staff and parents to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your role will be crucial in fostering a love for learning and supporting students in their academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver stimulating lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with SEN.
  • Foster an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment where every student feels valued and motivated.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, offering constructive feedback to support improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to achieve the best outcomes for students.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and serve as a positive role model.
  • Engage in professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives.

What You’ll Need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
  • Experience working with SEN students is beneficial.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students aged 8-9.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and positive approach to teaching challenges.
  • Availability to start in January and work full-time.
