Requirements:

Qualifications/Skills needed consist of the below -

  • NVQ Level 3 Equivalent or Higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience in a similar M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) maintenance supervisory or leadership role.
  • Knowledge of PPM, reactive maintenance, and M&E systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

A well-established maintenance provider who are renowned for their prestigious contracts are currently recruiting for a Lead M&E Engineer to look after a commercial contract in London's West End. This reputable company are big believers in promoting staff internally and are currently looking to add a strong Lead Engineer to their team.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of a team of engineers and contractors, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Assist with PPM and reactive maintenance tasks when required, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor and track KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) to ensure service delivery meets or exceeds contract requirements.
  • Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are consistently met, taking proactive measures to address any issues.
  • Manage and enforce RAMs (Risk Assessment Method Statements) and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure maintenance tasks are performed to the highest standards and within compliance guidelines

Candidate requirements:

  • The ideal candidate is client facing (job activities that involve direct interaction or contact with a client or customer)
  • The ideal candidate has bundles of experience leading a team and within the facilities maintenance industry.
  • Strong building services background
