Electrical Maintenance Operative - Contract Opportunity
Carbon60 are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join their client's team and play a vital role in maintaining their building services, systems, and plant equipment.
In this role you will be responsible for carrying out a range of programmed, planned, and reactive maintenance and repair tasks. You will also interface with customers, diagnose faults, and assist other tradespeople as needed.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical maintenance, a good understanding of building services, and the ability to work flexibly as part of a multi-skilled team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out programmed, planned, and reactive electrical maintenance and repairs
- Investigate, diagnose, and repair faults, and respond to breakdowns and service requests
- Modify existing plant, equipment, controls, and distribution systems as required
- Perform appropriate testing and inspections, and prepare equipment for statutory inspections
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with procedures, safe working practices, and statutory requirements
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, and assist with work/time recording
About the role:
Pay rate: up to 21 per hour PAYE
Contract: 3 months (with possibility of extension)
Shifts:
- 4 days on, 4 days off
- 12 hour shifts 7am-7pm
- 1 in every 4 weeks will be night shifts (7pm-7am)
