We are looking for an Organisational Development People Partner to join UCL. This will be a rolling contract with an initial duration of 3 months. This will be working hybrid with 2 days required onsite per week at Bidborough House (Monday onsite is essential plus one other day). This role is paying 30 per hour.

This newly created and exciting role offers opportunities to enhance people learning and management capability across UCL by working across multiple development areas and interventions within the OD portfolio. The postholder will have significant experience of the full learning and development cycle from analysis and diagnosis through to review and evaluation and confident working across the employee life cycle from induction through to development and retention.

You will be comfortable leading on a variety of different projects such as leading on one of our eleven Leadership programmes, delivering our People Management Essentials initiative and sustaining successful partnerships with a range of stakeholders. The role reports to the Associate Director of OD (Learning and Leadership Development) and works closely with HR colleagues and senior stakeholders across UCL to build people capability consistently across academic, professional services and research management populations.

Qualifications, experience and knowledge

Experience of the full Learning and Development cycle including needs analysis, design, delivery and evaluation and applied to learning and leadership/management programmes.

Experience of being responsible for the end-to-end delivery of quality blended learning and development initiatives to time and specification in both a digital and face-to-face context

Experience of working in a consultative or partner approach with clients in large complex organisations to identify development needs and in developing appropriate, impactful interventions.

An understanding of issues relating to equity, diversity and inclusivity in the workplace, with experience of implementing impactful responses to support under-representation.

Confident in budget management

Experience of developing management / leadership development interventions for academics or highly technical specialists

An understanding of the different development needs of emerging, established and senior managers and leaders

Psychometric qualifications such as, Insights, DISC, SDI

Skills and abilities

Highly organised with proven ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams to budget and schedule across various populations in a complex organisation.

Ability to demonstrate an outcome orientated approach with an emphasis on ongoing management and completion of a task.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Ability to draw effective insights from consultation and data, responding strategically to findings and trends, being able to demonstrate impact and identifying and acting upon opportunities for continuous improvement.
