Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a Stores Operative to join a busy logistics team. The role involves managing dispatch operations to ensure completed products are delivered efficiently to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the production team with the dispatch of products.
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of orders.
- Manage stock levels and perform regular stock checks.
- Utilise computer systems to maintain inventory records.
- Handle goods inwards and goods outwards processes.
- Adhere to all health and safety standards.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach.
- Experience working in a Stores environment is essential.
- Familiarity with computer systems for inventory management.
- Self-sufficient with strong logical thinking.
- A forklift license is preferable, but not essential.
Contract Details:
- Contract Duration: Initially 6 months, with the potential for extension based on business needs.
- Pay Rate: Starting at 12.20 per hour, increasing to 12.50 per hour after 12 weeks.
