Engineering Shift Supervisor
Location-Fitzrovia, London
Salary: 50K to 55K
Resourcing Group is working with FM Companies who are responsible for managing a mixture of reactive and planned maintenance contracts across UK.
The Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for delivering the hard services PPM and reactive services in a safe and secure manner in line with the contract requirements. Leading a shift of engineers and subcontract resources, you will maintain, repair and replace items including mechanical, electrical and public health services along with the building fabric. You must lead the team planning work so that it does not affect the client business activities.
The candidate must be willing to undertake training and be appointed to the role of HV AP for the site.
Essential skills
- Recognised electrical qualifications
- Proven track record in delivering engineering solutions in a business/broadcast critical environment
- Detailed operational understanding of facilities maintenance, soft services, hard services, and building services within a business critical environment. Experience of planning and delivering PPM and reactive work.
- Excellent IT skills inc FM Management Information Systems (Maximo), MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Wide breadth of knowledge on mechanical electrical systems and building fabric repairs.
- Sound commercial and financial awareness.
- Experience managing a team of engineers
- Experience in Supervising and controlling similar shifts
- Ability to produce detailed reports for the internal and customer use
- Previous HV AP appointment in a similar environment with JSP375 experience.
- Electrical Apprenticeship, 18th edition IEE, C&G 2391, BTEC &
