Your new company
A new role based in Kings Lynn for a maintenance engineer working on a rotating early and late shift for a large manufacturing company who produce bespoke products for the UK building industry.
Your new role
Working as a maintenance engineer on a rotating early and late shift pattern Monday to Friday, you will be supporting the site teams with fault diagnosis and resolving any failures on production machinery such as automation, electrical and mechanical issues. You will keep detailed reports and record any maintenance work via SAP (CMMS), drive continuous improvement via preventative maintenance activities, equipment checks and repairs. You will complete permits to work, risk assessments and method statements for all maintenance tasks.
What you'll need to succeed
You will hold an NVQ level 3 or equivalent in electrical and mechanical engineering, have gained experienced working in a manufacturing environment and have good working knowledge of automation, PLC's, fault-finding and diagnostics. Coupled with excellent problem-solving and strong analytical skills. You will have experience of CMMS systems, ideally SAP, and knowledge of root cause analysis, preventative/planned maintenance optimisation.
