Reed Accountancy & Finance, the UK’s leading specialist recruitment partner, is currently seeking a Management Accountant for a temporary position with our client based in West Malling. This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Management Accountant who is ready to take on a challenging role in a dynamic environment and is available to start immediately.
Management Accountant Day-to-day of the role:- Prepare and analyse financial statements and management reports.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasts.
- Implement and monitor financial controls and policies.
- Conduct variance analysis and make recommendations based on findings.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) are preferred.
